Measurement and Long Term Yield Assessment of 11 sites in Turkey

Renewable power producer Boralex recently celebrated the inauguration of a 15.9 MWp solar park in Pézènes-les-Mines, France. As an independent third party, 3E is proud to have contributed to this project by having conducted the technical due diligence for the financing operation between Boralex and French lender BPCE Energeco.

3E and GEOSun were commissioned by the Pacific Power Association (PPA) to conduct ground-based meteorological measurements for the Pacific Islands region. The solar and wind measurement campaigns had two primary objectives: firstly, to gather the necessary data for future yield assessment of renewable energy projects in high-priority locations. Secondly, to improve and validate the resource assessment models used in the Global Wind Atlas & Global Solar Atlas, thereby improving mapping outputs and time series data for the countries in the region.

3E’s Strategy & Policy team has been overall coordinator and leading the technical assistance in the second phase of the project that ran from 2021 to February 2023.

3E, Egnon Consulting and Socrège have been assigned by the Société Béninoise d’Energie Électrique (SBEE) to provide owner’s engineering services for Benin’s first utility-scale solar power plant.

3E was appointed by the independent power producer Neoen to perform a vendor due diligence on two solar power plants located in Nouvelle Aquitaine and Occitanie, France.

3E was appointed by the Port Authority of Moerdijk, The Netherlands, to deliver technical guidance for the development of a 6.23 MWp and a 1.98 MWp solar PV parks located on pipeline strips along ring roads.

3E has been appointed by POM Antwerp to provide technical advisory services and guidance during the tendering process for the installation of a floating PV system at the Science Park University of Antwerp in Niel, Belgium.

IZEN chose SynaptiQ, 3E’s asset management and performance optimization software, to monitor and benchmark its 110 MWp O&M solar portfolio.

3E was appointed by Sterling Bank PLC to perform a technical due diligence on the planned solarization project at the Sterling Bank Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria

3E was appointed by solar energy company Urbasolar to perform a long-term yield assessment of this unique solar project in urban setting. Thanks to highly reliable historical solar irradiation databases, 3E consultants were able to calculate the long-term energy production with the utmost accuracy.

3E is proud to be part of Burundi’s first utility-scale solar PV project. This project is the first grid-connected project receiving funding support from the Renewable Energy Performance Platform (REPP) and marks therefore a key milestone for the REPP.
